Our agency is managed by a staff of veterans of the local shipping industry who have over 80 combined years of international freight forwarding experience and knowledge.
We offer a full suite of services for both imports and exports . We provide in-house worldwide transportation of cargo by Sea and Air Freight with N.V.O.C.C. operations and Customs Clearance.

Our sub-offices are located close to the Trinidad seaports and airport. Our staff is on hand to oversee the lading and offloading of incoming and departing shipments. They speed-up the processing of documents and payment of shipping fees. They then track the shipment of our clients’ cargo until it arrives at its destination.

DEREK TELFER
Founder & Managing Director
A seasoned Vessel Agent and veteran of the cargo and freight forwarding industry in Trinidad and Tobago, he has over 40 years of knowledge and hands-on experience working in international shipping.
He has enjoyed a long and strong career in freight forwarding, working his way to supervisory and managerial levels at several shipping and customs companies. His last appointment before founding his own agency, was Director of Operations and Marketing at Sea Bridge Shipping and Brokerage, a stint that lasted just over five years.
In his quest to provide a higher level of personalized service that was noticeably lacking in the local industry he founded his family-owned company in 2007 with a vested interest in providing excellence in operational performance and delivering high business value to all clients.

Derek is a graduate of the prestigious Fatima College in Port of Spain. He is a member of the Fatima Old Boys Association and serves on the Board of Directors at his church.

KYLE TELFER
Director of Operations

Son of the founder, Kyle literally grew up in the freight forwarding business.
After graduating from university he worked as a teacher at a private high school and left that job in 2009 to join ACCLAIM, two years after his father established the company.
The consummate “go-getter”, Kyle brought his youthful energy and scholastic training to the job and is responsible for implementing many of the operating strategies that are key to the company’s high client retention rate.
Kyle has an excellent ability to understand our client’s needs. He continues to build on our foundation of acquiring repeat-business and personal recommendations from clients who have been impressed by his experience, tenacity and attention to detail, coupled with his ability to deliver sound logistics solutions for projects and budgets of all sizes.
He has a dynamic work ethic and is dedicated to each project from start to finish.
